Cofounda app is a platform that connects people, skills and ideas for business and beyond. It is a location based, instant messaging service for entrepreneurs, investors and people wanting to start something.
The idea began when one of the founders of the app was searching for a Creative cofounder for a magazine they wanted to launch, the process was long and expensive and it was only by chance they ended up finding the perfect person for the job less than 900 metres from where they lived. Cofounda allows users to search and find people with complimentary skillsets instantly, allowing people to start projects faster.
Cofounda also allows entrepreneurs to connect and pitch directly through to Investors, our video pitch module gives you the unique opportunity to tell people a little bit about your idea, your new team and what you are looking for. This is then emailed weekly directly to our Angel Investor database.

Mathew Beeche - CEO, cofounda Pty Ltd
Mathew's history is in sales and sales management in high volume transactional industries. He is the founder of Shoe String Media Group Pty Ltd and is the Publisher behind Shoe String Startups [www.shoestringstartups.com.au] a blog that reaches ten's of thousands of new business owners every month.
As CEO Mathew will be focusing on user experience and growth both here and in the overseas markets, as well as the development of future models to enhance the overall cofounda offering.
Jarrod O'Connell – CTO, cofounda Pty Ltd
Jarrod has a strong history in technology innovation, in particular in the Information, Communication Technology (ICT Field). Jarrod is also the co-founder and CTO of 3Play Technology Group Ltd, a company which has developed leading technology products in telecommunications, green technology, and mobile ordering and payment systems.
An expert in Information Technology, Jarrod has been a technical leader for the past 10 years in the use of open source software and programming to create commercial grade communications hardware and software. Jarrod's focus in the business is in the continued improvement of the cofounda operational software, and the development of new products, and bringing them to market.
Jarrod's passion is in the development and application of open source technology to all aspects of the growing business, leading a team of talented technicians and programmers. Jarrod is also the current CTO for 3Play Technology Group Ltd and TXT4Coffee Pty Ltd.
Daniel Filmer – Director, cofounda Pty Ltd
Daniel has a long history in technology innovation, in particular in the Information, Communication Technology (ICT Field). As a Co-founder and CEO of 3Play Technology Group Ltd, Daniel has been the driving force behind the creation of innovative technology in the fields of telecommunications, green technology, and mobile ordering and payment systems.
Daniel has specialised in sales and business management for 13 years, 8 of which have been the creation and building of 3Play Technology Group. Daniel's combination of sales expertise, and business knowledge has driven the continued growth and success of 3Play's companies. Daniel's focus in the cofounda is continued growth in sales, implementation of growth strategy, and development of the business.
Daniels vision and business expertise has been a significant contribution to the creation of cofounda and will be the driving force behind the growth of cofounda. Daniel is also the current CEO for 3Play Technology Group and TXT4Coffee Pty Ltd.
Angela Vithoulkas - Director, cofounda Pty Ltd
Angela Vithoulkas is a multi-award winning business owner, drawing on more than 26 years of hands on business experience. She has successfully built and sold multiple Sydney CBD cafes, including her champion cafe brand VIVO. Her flagship VIVO Cafe, store sits on one of Sydney's busiest intersections on George St. She is the 2007 winner of the NSW Telstra Business Women's Owner of the year Award, as well as the recipient of 6 business awards for VIVO Café.
Angela is a small business specialist, media commentator and broadcaster. Her focus within cofounda is to oversee and execute the marketing strategy, develop the user & partner experience and amplify the cofounda vision - Get Connected!
Angela sits on several boards - including the City of Sydney Retail Advisory Board and the ATO Micro Business Panel, giving advice from the small business perspective. Eagle Waves Radio is her newest business - an Internet Radio Station she has built, dedicated to small business owners. Angela broadcasts several shows each week dealing with the many issues faced by small business owners, giving them a voice to be heard!
